Description

This dataset represents the number of days per year with daily rainfall >50mm calculated for the LTER site Zbelboden, Pilot study 1 of the OrientGate project. Future climate projections were derived for the IPCC B1-scenario (GCM ECHAM5) for three time slices: 2025-2035, 2045-2055 and 2085-2095. We used downscaling scenarios for Austria reclip:century (http://reclip.ait.ac.at/reclip_century/) together with the weather generator ClimGen (Stckle et al. 1999). The latter was calibrated with meteorological data measured at the site.

Description

This dataset represents the number of days per year with daily rainfall >50mm calculated for the LTER site Zbelboden, Pilot study 1 of the OrientGate project. Future climate projections were derived for the IPCC A2-scenario (GCM ECHAM5) for three time slices: 2025-2035, 2045-2055 and 2085-2095. We used downscaling scenarios for Austria reclip:century (http://reclip.ait.ac.at/reclip_century/) together with the weather generator ClimGen (Stckle et al. 1999).
